Gender balance at the junior and mid- level positions is more evenly distributed, yet there are still quite a few funds without a single female on the investment team. The more senior the position, the fewer females are present. Female career development and female career perspectives should be addressed to create more evenly balanced growth opportunities in the VC community. Note: The funds which participated in the survey have a stronger focus on gender balance. Bearing this in mind, gender inequality is most visible at the top at those funds.
